We have been blessed with some amazing advances in modern technology which has allowed us comfort that was not possible a mere 100 years or so ago. But despite these advances, we suffer from severe chronic and degenerative diseases that were unknown to our recent ancestors.
We are a sick nation, overburdened by conditions such as diabetes, cancer, obesity, heart disease and allergies. Our healthcare system expense hit $3.8 trillion in 2014 — and is still on the rise. Yet we remain 37th out of 190 countries in the effectiveness of our healthcare system. We are plagued with disease, yet we have access to many technological advances that other countries will never be able to imagine, let alone realize.
It is no longer the norm to grow our own food. Instead, we prefer our drive-through lunches and quick microwaveable dinners. The human body was not created to metabolize high volumes of vegetable oil and sugar — the main ingredients found in our industrial food supply. In addition, we were also not built to live such sedentary lives. Yes, things are very different than they once were.
We don’t move as much as we used, We eat too much, or we eat the wrong food, we don’t manage stress well. We generally disrespect what God created and declared good. Children are more obese than ever and battling earlier onset of diabetes and other dangerous conditions.
So, what did our ancestors get right?
Here is a short list of what they did that we no longer do:
Health and disease-free life rests in how we treat our body. We succumb to lifestyle-related illnesses today because of the lifestyle that we choose to live. Our ancestors had plenty of threats to their health, but they were mostly external threats and things that they had very little control over.

Have you ever wondered How some people can fight off viruses and some can not, sure you might think it's your immune system and that would be correct, but it's also our inner Doctor. The only thing that healed you every time you got sick was your immune system.
That's your inner doctor.
Many people mistakenly think it's the drugs that cure them, but they're wrong.
Drugs help you, but it's your inner doctor who heals you.
Anti Inflammatory medication doesn't treat the cause of inflammation.
Painkillers don't treat the cause of the pain.
Insulin doesn't treat the cause of diabetes and statins don't treat the cause of cholesterol buildup in the arteries.
All these pills a lot of time's have devastating side effects if taken over long periods of time - killing your own natural ability to treat the root cause.
A good example is someone that is infected with HIV they have a greater risk of being diagnosed with a certain type of cancer.
One of the reasons cancer was very rare when our grandparents was growing up, is that back then people had a healthy inner doctor.
There were no pills, so they had to have a strong immune system, if they were to survive. It's your inner doctor who decides how you live your life, depending on its strength.
In age's of 60, 70 or 80 there is a strong possibility we could be bedridden with all sorts of chronic diseases, tired all the time with different articular pains and prematurely aging, or we could be full of energy and fit inside & out and do what ever we want.
Free to spend good times with our family and work, gym, traveling, and hobbies until your nineties just like our grandparents who died.
We've all seen a 90 year old that still works in the garden every day and don’t have any joint pain or any health problems at all.
My grandmother, an avid Walker and Gardner could out walk us even in her later years. She lived until she was 103
On the other hand, we all know people who feel and look 80 when they are barely past 40, bedridden with all sorts of diseases some even with their time cut short, could it be by their food choices we're hurting our inner doctor right now without even realizing it.
Whenever we take a pill or another synthetic medication, we may help our body for the short term but what about the long term harm.
What we're doing is treating the symptoms sure, it helps short term we do feel better for the moment but, there's a huge price we pay each time we suppress our symptoms and it all adds up.
With every pill that we take, our inner doctor becomes weaker.
Information and statements made are for education purposes and are not intended to replace the advice of your doctor. If you have a severe medical condition or health concern, see your physician.
We really need our inner doctor, for survival every part of our body at some point in our live's will start to decline.
If we don't use our muscles, they'll atrophy.
If we don't use our brain, we'll think slower, memory lapse.
If we don't walk, our bones will lose calcium and become brittle.
The same thing happens to our immune system. If our inner doctor is on pills, it becomes weak and our body will slowly decline.
It's not unheard of how one pill will lead to another one.
And soon we're taking a handful of pills at a time.
I can't say this enough pills deaden our inner doctor.
There is something that heals it and makes it stronger, than it has ever been, by taking charge of your inner doctor.
Raising our children, buying a our home, or finding the perfect job. We do not leave it up to someone else to do and hope for the best.
So why would we do any differently when it comes to the most important thing our life, is our health.
Pills weaken and even fight against our inner doctor, there are some natural substances found in nature, even some in our very backyard, plants that can make our inner doctor stronger.
Our ancestors used these plants long before we existed, but they lacked something that we know today.
Modern science, we can now distinguish the plants that have powerful healing properties.
We can now pinpoint the substances in nature that act like an antibiotic, an antiviral, or for the ones that are helping our inner doctor.
That's because now we know the mechanics behind a disease. When we keep our inner doctor on foods that are raw, pure & clean our inner doctor becomes stronger, vibrant & healthy.

keeping eye on news about Vitamin K because of the steady stream of new research showing just how important the micronutrient is for our health. Covid-19 research that have come out in the past several weeks about vitamin K close to 800 papers have been published so far Researchers were curious about low Vitamin K status and its connection with scar tissue buildup in the lungs, and how this appears to be a factor in severe Covid-19 respiratory symptoms
Vitamin K plays an important role in lung function because it helps to activate elastin, the protein responsible for lung tissue flexibility. The lungs must be incredibly flexible to function well.
Without enough Vitamin K, elastin becomes stiff and fibrous scarring can build up in the lungs — making it more difficult to breathe and more difficult for lung tissue to exchange oxygen. During a respiratory infection like Covid-19, researchers hypothesized that people with low Vitamin K status could be at increased risk for severe respiratory symptoms.
In there study team looked at a protein marker that is tied to Vitamin K status — comparing levels of the marker in 123 people hospitalized with confirmed Covid-19 to those in a control group of 184 that did not have Covid. The marker — desphospho-uncarboxylated matrix Gla protein (dp-ucMGP) — is inversely related to Vitamin K status: when levels of dp-ucMGP are higher, it indicates that Vitamin K levels are lower or deficient; when levels of dp-ucMGP are lower, it indicates higher levels of Vitamin K.
Across the board, results showed that levels of dp-ucMGP were higher in patients with Covid-19 infection and lower in the healthy control group. But not only that, when researchers compared severity of respiratory symptoms and outcomes among Covid patients — comparing those who recovered and were discharged from the hospital with those who required ventilator use or who died — dp-ucMGP levels were comparatively low in the patients with “good” outcomes and higher in the patients with “poor” outcomes. We're sure more research on this will be needed.
The women's health network: stated, that Vitamin K helps to keep blood vessels more elastic and free from mineral build up. Several studies show that people who took Vitamin K2 as MK-7 had a reduced risk of coronary calcification and heart disease. (In other words, K2 as MK-7 keep calcium in the bones and out of the arteries!) Even in patients with kidney disease, who are at risk of atherosclerosis and heart disease, small doses of Vitamin K as MK-7 (and vitamin D) helped slow the progression of the disease.
Important note: Supplementing with Vitamin K may reduce the effectiveness of Coumadin other other blood thinning medications. If you are taking a blood thinner, you will want to talk to your doctor about how to still maintain healthy vitamin K intake.

What is organic?
Organic is not necessarily the most efficient farming, in the short run it is slower, harder and more complex, and more labor in-tensive, when visiting an organic farm you'll notice something, animals bird and insect activity. but is this organic ? maybe not but we do know that a good farm must be one where the native flora have lost acreage without losing there existence.
Numerous study's show that pesticides can adversely effect the nervous system and increase the risk of cancer, and decrease fertility. Feeding the soil with organic matter instead of ammonia and other synthetic fertilizer has proven to increase nutrients with higher levels of vitamins and minerals found in organic food and preserve the top soil. Science proves that food taste better when it is grown in harmony with nature.

Male menopause” is the more common term for andropause. It describes age-related changes in male hormone levels. The same group of symptoms is also known as testosterone deficiency, androgen deficiency, and late-onset hypogonadism.
Male menopause involves a drop in testosterone production in men usually who are age 50 or older, it also can be younger but, It’s often affiliated with hypogonadism. Both conditions involve lowered testosterone levels and similar symptoms.
Testosterone is a hormone produced in your testes. It does more than fuel your sex drive. It also fuels changes during puberty, fuels your mental and physical energy, maintains your muscle mass, regulates your fight-or-flight response, and regulates other key evolutionary features.
Male menopause differs from female menopause in some ways. manopause is more of a continuous process, just like female menopause potentially affecting a man for decades. In fact, for many men, "age related slowdown" can begin as early as their 30's woman can start as early as their 20's Around the world, for ages now, plants and herbs have been used to encourage male vitality.

Menopause & Peri- Menopause what is it
Almost all women suffer significant symptoms – an average of eight symptoms each During peri-menopause and menopause, it can be surprisingly difficult to see that all the symptoms you’re experiencing are related, especially when they arise separately over months — or even years. The average woman has eight different menopause-related symptoms. But she may never connect the dots to realize that the underlying cause behind all of these confusing symptoms is hormonal imbalance.
As women, our hormone levels change throughout our lives, and for the most part, our bodies have the ability to adjust. But the shifts in your sex hormones may become too extreme or happen too quickly for your body to manage them, especially when you’re in peri-menopause and beyond.
You may experience wide-ranging symptoms, from fatigue and moodiness to vaginal dryness and joint discomfort, to low libido and fuzzy thinking. You may just think these are signs of worsening PMS but in fact it’s the start of your menopause transition.
We know that specific fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone and testosterone can determine whether or not you develop symptoms. But it’s more a question of balance than of specific hormone levels.
it’s not just your sex hormones that can affect how you feel: insulin levels, thyroid function and adrenal health are all intertwined with your sex hormones too. That’s because all your body’s hormones affect one another. This explains why the conventional approach to menopause and symptom relief is often too simplistic to be safe and effective.
There are so many things a woman may go through from night sweats to not being able to fall asleep, to fatigue , depression, anxiety, thinning hair, joint pain, memory changes vaginal dryness which contribute to low libido, a drop in progesterone or a testosterone deficiency by itself can also leave you without a sex drive.
Digestive discomfort, Peri-menopause and menopause can compound existing stress levels, causing your body to be overcome with too many demands. Under these conditions, it’s likely you’ll feel overwhelmed mentally and feel unable to deal effectively with anything.
Your symptoms are your body’s way of asking or screaming for help.

Holistichilda had a awesome article on Benjamin Button and this is what she said:
If I could bottle up the “Benjamin Button” diet/lifestyle and sell it on the street corner, perhaps I could make a mint. But I’d just rather everyone be living their best life, so I’m not asking for a dime. Instead I’ll tell you the six secrets for reversing age-related decline (or at least not going down without a fight)! These are principles she incorporate on a daily basis If you do the same, you, too, can be younger than your chronological years.
Eat real fats. Yes it's true, saturated fats like coconut oil, real raw butter, tallow and lard actually improve brain function. Our brains are 60% fat, so Nobody (no matter what age none of us want to be scratching our head, trying to remember where they put things. We eat butter, coconut oil, and animal fats every day.
2. Move. It’s common knowledge that we lose muscle mass as we age. When we challenge our bodies through active hobbies such as resistance training in a gym. Weight-bearing exercise improves bone density & strength-training builds muscles back up. Take short runs, do pull ups and push-ups every day.
3. Get out in the sun. The sun gives our mitochondria energy (the tiny motors in our cells) & powers up our longevity telomeres. we tend to feel fresher than ever when we make it a habit of catching the sunlight within 45 minutes of sunrise. it's good to spend at least 15 minutes looking in the direction of the sun that tend to power us up . The extra strength and energy helps us throughout the day.
4. Sleep. This is the time your body and brain “take out the trash.” Mental energy is restored when we sleep sufficiently. Those who do not get enough not only suffer mentally from brain fog and fatigue, there’s truth to the phrase “getting my beauty sleep”). I’m committed to getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
5. Reduce stress. Marie Kondo has it right. she mention, don’t just look at possessions and question how much joy they bring but Look at your schedule. Drop the extra baggage. Or at least set it aside for a bit. she mention to exercise, walk, run, or hike, step outside for lunch, take time to chat with a neighbor, she mention don’t just wait till the end of the day to relax (or collapse into bed). Be proactive and take mini-breaks so that you can lead a more balanced/relaxed lifestyle. she also mention daily mental health breaks our wonderful because our life and health depend on it.
6. Eat more seafood. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is critical to healthy brain function. DHA is an Omega-3 fatty acid found in cold-water oily fish (like salmon, herring, sardines, and makerel) and a course in seaweed. Upping your levels of DHA can combat depression, age-related cognitive decline, and heart disease, with being a pescatarian I eat seafood at least once or twice a week, it may benefit you to learn of the importance of DHA.
just food for thought

Live, Love Fruit had an interesting article on Mucus & Inflammation here it is: When viruses, toxins, bacteria, yeast, fungus, parasites and other undigested food particles enter the body, the body releases its own natural inflammatory mediators, like histamine. When histamine is released, inflammatory mediators cause the blood vessels to dilate and leak, and the mucus glands secrete fluid.
While under normal immune circumstances (like getting over a cold), beneficial mucus is produced to trap pathogens and carry them out of the body. This isn’t the case if we’re consistently producing mucus all the time. When our mucus becomes chronic, the immune system is constantly sensing that it is under attack. When our bodies get chronically inflamed, the mucus membranes secrete more mucus to protect the delicate membranes lining our organs. Therefore, the less inflamed you are, and the less viruses, toxins, bacteria, yeast, fungus, parasites and undigested food particles you have in your body, then the less mucus you’ll be producing as a result.
If we’re constantly producing excessive mucus (like post nasal drip after eating, a constant runny nose, persistent mucus from the nose or eyes, mucus build-up in the back of the throat, or cystic white acne), we need to think about what we are eating, drinking or encountering that may be triggering this reaction.
Last but not least, reducing your consumption of inflammation-triggering foods will greatly help reduce the levels of inflammation in the body. Bacteria, yeast, fungi, and parasites love foods that lower oxygen content in the body and raise acidity levels. An increase in bacteria, yeast, fungus and parasites in the body means the body has to work harder to eliminate them, and as a result, produces more mucus to aid in the process.

A Good gallbladder function is often overlooked when searching for solutions to common health complaints such as constipation, flatulence, fat digestion problems, low or high cholesterol levels, nutritional deficiencies, or imbalances of gut bacteria and parasites, to name a few.
Clinical evidence confirms that optimizing gallbladder function is often the key to resolving many seemingly unrelated problems and symptoms.
Gallbladder has many very important functions to perform in our digestive and detox systems. It’s an organ that stores bile produced by the liver until it’s needed for digestion of fats we eat. Bile, a dark green or yellow-brown fluid, is the key substance responsible for the breakdown of fats and cholesterol in the digestive system to absorb and utilize them.
Main functions of bile are:
Like all organs, gallbladder can malfunction at times resulting in:
There are effective natural remedies for the above problems, however, if your gallbladder is painful or infected consult a doctor immediately to perform a detailed examination to determine the best course of action which may include surgical procedures.
When the gallbladder is removed the bile produced by the liver no longer has a storage place and it drips constantly directly to the small intestine. Most individuals with no gallbladder will need to either be careful with their dietary fat intake. Digestive enzymes may help to absorb the fats needed for good health
Symptoms of impaired gallbladder function include:
Problems with bile flow are associated with:
Top nutrients to increase bile production and flow naturally
One of our feature products is our " Seaweed Moss Gold super-food that is one of our standard products, and comes in many different beneficial infused plant base flavors and is 100% vegan, because of it's amazing benefits Seaweed moss, is another sea vegetable that grows on rocks close to shore. Popular for its anti-viral properties, it’s been around since the 1800 people have been harvesting it from the rocky shores for medicinal purposes. For the Irish, it’s become the standard method in helping those suffering in times of famine and from malnutrition because of all the vital benefits.
Like many trendy so-called "superfoods," sea moss has a celeb-studded backing, it was stated in Shape magazine that none other than Kim Kardashian had posted a photo of her breakfast, complete with a seaweed moss-filled smoothie.
Seaweed Moss has also been known as carrageenan and this is something I want to touch on a little further. (1) what is carrageenan? it is a food additive and emulsifier that has been chemically extracted from seaweed moss and other algae. (2) Is it safe ?
Carrageenan is safe for human consumption ONLY when it is in its whole food state. This means once it is chemically extracted, by the use of potassium hydroxide, the carrageenan from the whole sea moss is no longer safe. In fact, the nutritional value is drastically diminished and has resulted in a product that has isolated gelling properties, but is now recognized by the human body as a poison. Due to this extraction, carrageenan has been directly linked to tumor growth and a host of gastrointestinal problems. (3) What is potassium hydroxide ?
Potassium Hydroxide is a toxic poisonous chemical used in the process of removing a plant's cellulose Which is an important structural component of the primary cell wall of many forms of algae. In this way of extraction it produces the left over substance known as Food Grade Carrageenan. (4) Where would you find carrageenan ?
commercial pre-packaged, frozen and heavily processed vegan and non-vegan foods, you will most-likely find carrageenan hiding in the ingredient list which may be at a higher amount than you think.
Just because an ingredient has plant origins, does not mean that if extracted it will retain the same benefits. In fact, the extract can turn out to be more harmful than the original plant. We deserve the best foods available in order for us to live & perform at the highest level, for the length of our lives. We always tell our clients to cook at home & add seaweed moss to your daily regime which is good for you, stay away of prepackaged & frozen foods that may contain carrageenan, which is a derivative of sea moss that can cause a lot of biological issues.
Whether we are plant base or Vegan you are probably missing out on key nutrients according to the CDC 9 out of 10 Americans are lacking one or more key dietary nutrients, even Athletes whose job is to get optimal nutrition and have access to professional dietary advice had at least two or more nutrients deficiencies according to an international society of sports nutrition study. Vegan & Plant -based in particular are at risk for some specific deficiencies since they miss out on nutrients commonly derived from animal sources. B12 for example it is said that the only reliable source of this vitamin comes from animal source but, there is another source of B vitamins that we,re overlooking and yes that is Seaweed Moss which contain a decent amount of riboflavin (B2) and folate (B9). Riboflavin is needed to break-down proteins, carbs, and fats, while folate is needed to form DNA and other genetic material. When folate pairs up with B12, it also helps to create red blood cells. B vitamins are not only missing from vegan and plant-base diets but studies have shown nearly 40 percent of the population suffers from B vitamin deficiencies. and seaweed Moss have so much more.
